Eddy Man was born in Santiago, Chile and spent his life in Canada, South Korea and the United States. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University’s College of Architecture, Art & Planning and obtained his Masters in Design Studies at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, specializing in Design Technology. Upon completion of his thesis, Sandbox3D: Web App for Real-time Design Collaboration, he was awarded the Digital Design Prize. He has worked in the offices of POSCO A&C of Seoul, South Korea; Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York City; EPIPHYTE Lab of Ithaca, New York.

Eddy Man left Hong Kong in 2014, and is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at Carnegie Mellon University School of Architecture.
